THE PROCESS of RECYCLING COTTON
Cotton scraps that would normally end up in landfill are collected and ground back to fibre. The fibre is then re-spun and woven into fabric. All colours used to dye the fabric are derived from plants, fruits and vegetables, this means the dye is harmless to the environment and the people working with it. All runoff from the process is organic and can be returned to the ground. These fabrics are spun and dyed in India under 'Fair & Ethical' working conditions.
Part of the character of this fabric comes from the small imperfections in the weave and colour, nature does not create perfectly even fibres so along with other irregularities a slub (thicker fibres) might be apparent.

- all corners are finished with french seams
- fully enclosed elastic around the entire sheet
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- cold/warm machine wash on gentle/delicate setting
- use phosphate free detergents
- do not use bleach or fabric softener
- do not tumble dry
- line dry out of the sun, gently pull into shape
- warm iron

This item has been hand made for you. Due to the dying process there could be a slight variation in the density or colour of the dyes to those shown.
All fabrics have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk before cutting, there may still be some shrinkage however this should be minimal. Fabric will soften with use and washing. As with most natural printed fibres there could be some colour fading with use and time.
